I have heard of Democrats and Republicans, conservatives and liberals, what is the “redneck” party? You are kind of vague in your “question”. I came from a small town of 400 people, I have a college education, I have worked hard most of my life for everything I have, I consider myself successful because I didn’t ask the government for help, EVER. Am I the redneck you are referring to?
I voted for Bush based on his success in Texas. He is the first governor to ever be elected to two consecutive terms. Then the corrupt DC crowd got ahold of him, and now after 8 years, he has lost some of his luster, but he is still better than anything your left-wing machine can come up with.

I would be even less pleased with Obama’s performance. BTW Bush had Democratic help in this economic mess. Remember Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, and even Obama took money from Freddie/Fannie in one form or another. The first two said everything was alright when Mccain and others said it was a train wreck waitng to happen. It’s about time Americans stop blindly blaming the presidents and look at the dyamics of the situation or they will find themselves electing the people actually responsible. ACORN pushed and sued for these subprime loans knowing full when the people they “helped” get into the home were going to lose it when the bubble burst. Wasn’t Obama linked with Acorn..a lawyer…trainer and a supporter($800,000 this year).

Whoops, is this your spleeen? @ 2:37 pm #

Look at the electoral map and you will see that outside of the south, McCain is getting almost nothing.
And the reason he’s getting the south is that a majority of the people who live there are just stupid enough for the GOP to manipulate. It’s no wonder that rich people vote Republican, but it’s frankly quite amazing how effectively the Republican party has learned to manipulate the religious nuts and the rednecks by playing on their fears.

Hey, even the self-labeled rednecks are switching over to the intelligent candidate who will look out for their bottom line!

Oh look an enlightened liberal telling white people they are racist and stupid rednecks for not voting for Barack Obama.
Can’t you come up with a better Lame excuse?
