When will they learn that guns don’t actually help. A majority of the people that carry guns don’t have them loaded, and those that do are the paranoid ones who’ll shoot someone because they looked at you the wrong way. Why do they need this?

If any Americans answer this, please tell me what you think are the reasons for the gun murder rate in America being so high? I’m simply interested and would love to hear them from the proverbial horses mouth.
Fair enough, I retract the term redneck. I would still like to hear your views on why the gun crime is so high though.
And I know all about the constitution and the right to bear arms (poor armless bears), but why would you WANT to carry a gun? You’re allowed to, but why would you WANT to?

And can none of you see that if the constitution was revoked there would be less crime. There would still be crime, but there would be less.

Why would anyone want to carry on their person a weapon thats actually been designed to kill another human, not an animal, another human being? I just can’t understand it.

If you really feel safer carrying a weapon on you, then thats fine, but please don’t ever use it. Too many people get killed for no reason at all and there is enough suffering in this world already. In Britain it is illegal to own a handgun. I won’t pretend there aren’t people with them illegally but thats another story. The arguement of ‘fewer guns, more crime’ is ludicrous apart from in the instance where it is not illegal to kill a man, or woman, or teenager, or whatever, because they rob you. There’s self defence and then there is stupidity.

Anyway, I felt like a rant and I’ve had one. Thank you all for your angry retorts. I meant no insult, but clearly I have managed to insult you all. I think if you all lightened up a little and got a sense of humour you’ld probably kill less people and learn a little more tolerance.
