People are always making fun of the way southerners use words like y’all, fixin’ to, ain’t, dang, and yonder.

But why doesn’t anyone think athletes sound dumb when they say, you know, and you know what I’m sayin, and every other words they can string together for an interview on TV.

Even when Southerners from different parts of the South, say Savanah, GA and Memphis, TN meet outside the South they have a relationship. Even when there is a racial, ethnic, or age difference. But the same thing doesn’t happen with people from different parts of the North, say Buffalo and Milwaukee. Although it might with different New Englanders when they meet outside of New England. .
I meant with this question something positive that the South has not something negative that the North has!

It also seems to me that many Americans know they are describing southerners and go right along with the Anti-Americanism, because they know they are not describing them. Has anyone noticed this or is my perception inaccurate?

That is certainly one implication of how life would be if the South had been allowed to continue going about its business, right? It’s business was plantation work performed by slaves.

For thousands of years, the Native Americans owned the land now known as the United States.

Then, Spain stole it from them for 20 years.

Then, Mexico took control of the land that is now southern United States FOR ONLY 24 YEARS.

Then at the end of the Mexican-American war, Mexico and the United States signed the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalo, in which the United States BOUGHT the land from Mexico and have now owned it for over 150 years.

So now in 2007, millions of slimy dishonest Mexicans are trying convince people that they still own southern America.

So let me get this straight. If you buy a house from me, am I still allowed to sneak into it and take things from you without your permission because I USED TO OWN THE HOUSE?

Mexicans are slimy parasites who WILL succeed in ruining our country because our government is incompetent.
neoalien, the Mexicans want us to believe that they want our land. They don’t. They want freebies like using our hospitals without paying the bill and welfare for their anchor babies. Their excuse for crossing the border is that they think they still own the land. Slimy parasites.
