It seems as though every time I venture out of the South people characterize me as slow, dumb, and inferior. I know this is an ignorant assumption but I do not want to make the same mistake. What is your honest opinion of Southerners and why?
If you could put the region you’re from that’d be great!

Northen US i.e (Wiscosin, Minnesota Michigan )has wonderful summers and spectacuar falls with full colors While many parts of the southen US i.e Florida, Arkansas Tennessee, Arizona, New Mexico has hot very humid (or extremely dry) summers no falls but warmer and very short winters with little if any snow .Where would you prefer to live and why? No snowbirds please I know many people travel back and forth to get the best of both climates!

During the Civil War only France backed the CSA. If they had waited until today how many countries would have backed the war? And where would the Mason-Dixon Line have been drawn?

Okay, forgetting the Mason-Dixon line, would you consider Virginia a culturally southern place? Because it just isn’t like the other southern states, kind of like Florida. Im from around DC, and nothing about it is even remotely southern, so I feel like the state is having an identity crisis.

A political party is nothing more than its constituency which, in the case of the current Republican party, is little more than Utah, Idaho and the SOUTH. They’ve been the least ethical and least astute region at every other time in history; why would you follow them now?
