It’s ignorant to assume that the GOP is the “rich man’s party”. It’s also ignorant to assume that Southerners are “poor rednecks”. Here’s a reality check for you: Oklahoma has a Democrat majority, but John McCain won EVERY SINGLE COUNTY in that state.

Democrats have OWNED that title proudly for 150 years in this country, first by defying federal law in slave trade, then by taking up arms to protect their right to own black slaves, then by forming the KKK, then by enforcing Jim Crow laws.

The Dem’s have been real successful in spinning Conservatives as being for the rich because we believe in small Government and less Taxes. By telling dumb people like you that we are going to tax the rich you feel all good because you think you are entitled to what someone else works for. But you are too dumb to realize who gives you a job and who really ends up paying these taxes because the price of every thing goes sky high. Have you priced a new car lately? If you are low income you can go right out and buy a couple of them can’t you. What does it cost to eat out nowadays? So, ask yourself, “who is really paying higher taxes?” You know what, you wouldn’t understand anyway so don’t bother with facts just enjoy your unemployment.

No it is not the rich man’s party. You haven’t seen the money these democrats make? They just tell you they are helping you. You don’t know how much of the money they pay to their special interest come back to them?
Democrats support the corrupt Acorn. The stimulus will give acorn money. Acorn will get the democrats reelected. The government gives money to Bank of America. Bank of America donates 2 million to Acorn.
It is easy to group people and make up any truth you want. Treat people as Individuals. Ask the rednecks you know how they vote and why they vote that way. But first other that the great redneck humor, how do you know someone is a redneck?

Primarily, social issues. The GOP has always been the party of ‘Christian values’ and some people will vote values over policies any day of the week. The GOP has tried to connect all Democrats to the ’san francisco’ mentality and lifestyle….That works well for southern and rural voters. While they care about other issues, many Republicans see things in moral absolutes….they see one gay couple, one guy defrauding welfare, one woman neglecting her responsibilities as a parent, and believe that a government controlled by Democrats necessarily means rampant gay pride parades on their streets, ‘welfare thugs’ all over their neighborhoods, and women having children for the sole purpose of receiving ‘free money from the government’.
For the past decade, the GOP has succeeded in stereotyping our beliefs and our own morals. Thankfully, many are wising up.

I don’t mean any disrespect for southern people with my answer. A lot of people who own guns have been scared by the republicans saying that Democrats will take their guns away. This of course is nonsense, anyone who really wants to look it up will find that Democrats have done more for gun rights than republicans, but that is kept hush hush. What was it that someone wrote about Democrats trying to spread fear? Well that is the pot calling the kettle black.
Oh and yes, the republicans are for the rich. Anyone with common sense can see that from looking at what they really do.

Maybe is because they see the Democrats who want to kill babies and wanted to show love to those who are out to kill us.
Maybe it is because Democrats have shown they want to smear anyone who dares to speak against Obama.
They see the Democrats as the party that wants to take away their land right and as they did in Conn so they can build condos.
Democrats have shown they are willing to leak out secrets about military operations just to make the president look bad.
They see how that a racist like Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, and Rev Wright are never call to task for their racist remarks.
All Democrats want to do is take money away from those who earn it and give it to those who don’t do anything.

Because it is not a rich man’s party; it is the party that strives for equality of opportunity, as opposed to you dimwitted Dems who strive for equality of result. Spread the wealth and economic justice means take money from the productive people and give it to the poor, lazy, and incompetent.

They don’t always but the south is known for wanting less federal interference in state matters. That party is not for the rich, it is for those who face reality and come up with solutions we can use.
